On October 5, 2012 it became known that on September 13, 2012 the Magistrate's Court court district No. 1 of the Salsky district of the Rostov region sentenced a resident Salsk to a fine of 3,000 rubles under Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (production and distribution extremist materials) for the use of prohibited Muslim labor when teaching.

Teaching the basics of Islam to underage pupils, Salchanin resorted to a book recognized as extremist by the decision of Leninsky District Court of the city of Orenburg in March 2012.
