The prosecutor's office appealed the court's decision to release the editor-in-chief of Orthodox Rus' on parole

On October 5, 2012, the acting prosecutor of the prosecutor's office for supervision of compliance with the rule of law in correctional institutions protested against the decision of the Vsevolozhsk City Court on the parole of the editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Rus Pravoslavnaya" Konstantin Dushenov.

The case will be considered by the judicial panel for criminal cases of the Leningrad Regional Court.

On September 28, 2012, the Vsevolozhsk City Court of the Leningrad Region granted the petition of the former editor of the newspaper Rus Pravoslavnaya, Konstantin Dushenov, for parole. Let us recall that K. Dushenov, the author of the anti-Semitic films “Russia with a knife in the back. Jewish fascism" and "Russia with a knife in the back 2", was sentenced under Part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of national hatred using the media) to 3 years of imprisonment in a colony settlement in February 2010.

In October 2012, St. Petersburg human rights activists sent an appeal to the prosecutor's office of the Leningrad region, which in particular recalled that Dushenov, while serving his sentence, received penalties for “violating the regime of serving the sentence,” and a criminal case was opened against him for escaping from places of imprisonment under Art. 313 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

In addition, despite the ban on publishing, Dushenov repeatedly published his articles in the media (“Warriors of Light” in parallel Russia” dated December 9, 2011, “The Poverty of Patriotic Analytics” dated September 21, 2012, “Putin and the Jews: from love to hatred..." from August 25, 2012, "Prison and Politics" from August 16, 2012, "Russian Boys.
