Pskov: sentence passed for anti-Semitic article on the Internet
On September 19, 2012, the Pskov City Court passed a verdict in a criminal case against M. Kuznetsov. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (committing actions aimed at inciting hatred and enmity, as well as humiliating the dignity of a group of people on the basis of nationality).
On October 1, 2012, Kuznetsov distributed an anti-Semitic article on the Internet.
The Pskov City Court took into account Kuznetsov's confession of guilt, remorse for what he had done, and sentenced him to a fine of 20,000 rubles.
On October 2, 2012, the verdict of the court entered into force.
