In Krasnoyarsk, the investigation of the case under Art. 282

In October 2012, the city of Krasnoyarsk completed investigation of a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred).

The case was initiated against a 20-year-old young man, who is accused of publishing in 2009 and 2010 on his page in one of the social networks several videos in which calls for violence and justifies acts of terrorism.

At the same time, he created in this social network a group of about 800 people who shared his views. Reportedly that most of the members of the group are from the Caucasus.

Unfortunately, we do not know the nature of this group: religious, separatist or nationalist.

The case has already been referred to the court for consideration on the merits.
