A rally was held in Saratov against the construction of a temple on the site of the stadium

In October 2012, it became known that on 29 September Saratov, the Yabloko party organized a rally, the participants of which spoke against the possible restoration of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral on the site of the current Dynamo stadium. Metropolitan of Saratov and Volsky Longinus several times publicly declared the need to restore this cathedral, which would require the relocation of the stadium. The official decision to restore the temple and there is no transfer of the stadium.
