In Bashkiria, the case of alleged participants and the leader of the local organization "Caucasus Emirate" has been brought to court

October 22, 2012 Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Bashkortostan announced the end of the investigation criminal case brought against three alleged members and the organizer of the banned organization "Emirate of the Caucasus", operating in the territory of the Baymak region.

Criminal cases under Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for extremist activity) and Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosive substances and explosive devices) were filed in September 2011 against four out of ten people detained by Center "E" on the day of the International Islamic conference "Ideals and Values ​​of Islam in the Educational Space of the 21st Century".

As a result of searches of the investigative the group discovered " explosives - RDX, TNT, ballistic powder, detonators, improvised firearms .” According to investigators, “ two active members of the cell in the late 1990s years were trained in a field camp of an illegal armed formations on the territory of the Chechen Republic ”.

Criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 330 UK RF (arbitrariness) was initiated September 21, 2011 in respect of three of those detained in connection with the seizure of the premises of the Baymak mosques.

The case has been referred to the court for essence.

In March 2014, it became known that the case was reclassified and in 2012 Nurgali Bikberdin, Akhmet Khusainov and Rishat Vakhitov were found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an extremist organization), and Nurmukhamed Bikberdin - under part 1 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of the activities of an extremist organization).
