On the night of 26 to 27 October 2012 year, a four-meter bow was cut down on the Pereborgsky tract near Rybinsk cross.
The cross was erected at the request of the parishioners of the Alexander Nevsky Church in 2011 and was supposed to "protect drivers and pedestrians from accidents.
The believers turned to the police.
Recall that worship crosses were cut down also in the Saratov region, Vologda region, Rostov region, Arkhangelsk and Chelyabinsk regions, in Moscow and in other regions of Russia.
