Omsk: fine for distributing prohibited materials and displaying Nazi symbols

In October 2012, in Omsk, a sentence was passed on administrative case on the mass distribution of extremist materials (Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) and public display of Nazi paraphernalia (Article 20.3 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).

An 18-year-old local resident was accused of in the fact that in August of this year he created a group under one of the social networks under the name "Russian Social-Democratic People's Party", the main the image of this group, he made the "Star of David" with a German swastika in middle. In addition, he posted two photographic images of Nazi symbols. Group had the slogan "Russia for the Russians".

Unfortunately, it is not clear from the message of the prosecutor's office whether the which prohibited materials the young man was charged with.

The court found him guilty and fined him.
