Internet encyclopedia " Lurkomorye" was blacklisted by Roskomnadzor, but access to the site is not blocked.
The night before, some Russian providers restricted access to the site of the “people's encyclopedia” Lurkomorye. Explanations for this can be found in the Roskomnadzor registry of prohibited sites - the resource is detected there by IP (85.17.124.180).
" Lurkomorye" was included in the register of prohibited sites by decision of the Federal Service for Drug Control (FSKN) on November 11. The complaint about the resource was received a week before ( which publication was not specified) . Representative of the Internet project Dmitry Khomak said that the reasons for including the site in the blacklist was not reported to its creators; the encyclopedia has already been moved to another IP address, Vedomosti writes.
Now the portal continues its work.
"Lurkomorye" calls itself an encyclopedia of modern culture, folklore and subcultures. Users can write and edit articles themselves, just like in Wikipedia.
Previously, another similar resource was included in the register - "Absurdopedia", recalls Ekho Moskvy . The decision to include the site in the list was made by Rospotrebnadzor because of the humorous article “How to commit suicide correctly.” The article was later deleted.
The registry of prohibited siteswent live on November 1. Pages containing child pornography, promotion of drug use and suicide may be blacklisted.
