Severodvinsk: a verdict was passed in the case of publishing racist materials on the VKontakte network

In November 2012, the Severodvinsk City Court of the Arkhangelsk region delivered a verdict in the case of initiating a national hatred (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

In the dock was a resident of the city of Severodvinsk - 29-year-old Pavel Zorev, who was accused of being from February 4 to March 20 this year published on his page in the social network "VKontakte" photos and drawings with racist language and Nazi symbols. Besides, the young man published anti-Caucasian and anti-Semitic statements on his page, and calls for violence.

The court found the young man guilty and sentenced to 90 hours of compulsory work.
