The case of two more members of the Volkssturm group has been brought to court

On November 19, 2012, the first department for the investigation of particularly important cases of the RF Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk region announced that the investigation of the criminal case against 22-year-old Alexander Solovyov and 24-year-old Alexander Minin had been completed. The criminal case, together with the approved indictment, was sent to the court for consideration on the merits in the Sverdlovsk Regional Court.

According to investigators, the accused were members of the Volkssturm group, which was created in September 2006. Soloviev was one of the leaders of the group.

Soloviev is accused of committing two murders (part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), seven attempted murders (part 3 of Article 30, paragraph a) ", "g", "l" part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) people of "non-Slavic appearance". When committing crimes, broken glass bottles, metal chains, brass knuckles and other objects were used as weapons. All of these crimes were committed when he was a minor.
Minin is accused of committing three crimes under paragraphs. “a”, “c” part 2 art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity). According to investigators, from May to June 2007, as part of a group, he committed three episodes of attacks on people of non-Slavic appearance in Yekaterinburg.

Volkssturm ceased to exist at the end of February 2008, due to the detention of another leader of the group, Mikhail Rusakov. Soloviev escaped, but was detained and in February 2010 sentenced by the Moscow City Court for committing a similar crime in Moscow (for murder motivated by national hatred and enmity), to 8.5 years in prison in a general regime colony (probably included in I see the verdict in the case of members of the ultra-right group “White Wolves” , handed down on February 25, 2010 by the Moscow City Court.
