In the city of Chudovo, a verdict was passed in the case of racist calls on a social network

October 31, 2012 Chudovsky District Court of the city of Chudovo Novgorod region sentenced in the case of inciting ethnic hatred (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and public calls for extremist activity (part 1 Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

In the dock was a 19-year-old local resident, who was accused of repeatedly posting on his page in one of the social networks calls for violent actions against people from the Caucasus and from Central Asia.

The court found the young man guilty and sentenced to 4 months of corrective labor with deduction in favor of the state of 10% of earnings.
