On November 30, 2012, it became known about the criminal case under Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activity), filed against unidentified persons following the events of May 6, 2012 in Moscow during the "march of millions".
It is reported that a right-wing radical was interrogated as a witness in the case Richard Sobolev, defendant in the previous "bolotnaya" case, suspected under Part 2 of Art. 212 (participation in riots) and Part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code (use of violence against government representative). Recall after several months in the pre-trial detention center for Sobolev, who was absent at all on Bolotnaya square and on May 6 was detained at Revolution Square, the measure of restraint was changed.
On the "march of millions" on May 6, 2012, as far as we it is known that there were no calls for extremist activities, but slogans which were carried by the marchers, had a predominantly political meaning and did not were radical. To consider any oppositional slogans as extremist, for example, calls for fair elections, is wrong.
