Searches of Jehovah's Witnesses in Kostomuksha

November 23, 2012 in Kostomuksha, police and FSB officers conducted searches in two apartments where Jehovah's Witnesses lived and in the premises where the worship services of this organization were held. The searches were carried out on the basis court order on conducting operational-search measures to seize religious literature.

Literature, CDs, and personal belongings were confiscated.

After the searches, believer I. Stepanov was taken to the department FSB, where they asked questions about the activities of Jehovah's Witnesses.
