Good afternoon
I am waiting for my entry on PET (positron emission tomography), and time goes on, and with it the course of metronome chemotherapy continues. On Monday, there was another introduction (chemical cocktail), and after it they gave way to me for the second time in my life for the second time in my life, although I did not ask about it ... And again the old woman did it. I can only guess what my complexion was at that moment?)
In fact, this is a problem that is completely not obvious to a healthy person. In the subway there are places for people with disabilities, elderly, pregnant women ... But anyone occupies them. I myself really do not like it when people begin to demand to give in to them. It seems to me that this is a violation of the rules of decency-the whole car is not obliged to know that you are sick, or tired, or something else there. But I think, it’s completely normal to take and politely ask to give way.
But those who demand something-they are attended even by me. It is rare when it happens that they refuse a polite request for help. People do not really understand what is happening - it seems to be a “young elk” in front of them ... But, as a rule, they do not ask. And if they ask him, then, having heard the answer, they begin to be shy about their question. But I regularly happen that the lady enters the car, looks around him, chooses me as the youngest and literally demands that I make her place. I always answer extremely politely, I apologize that I can’t do this, and I ask her to turn to other passengers. So this appeal has never (!) It was adequately perceived: what only mat and curses I did not hear in response ...
How to react - I spied in Europe. In Germany, under the sign of parking for the disabled, the poster hung “Do you want to take my place? Do you want to pick up my disability? ” I now politely ask the “demanding men” whether they will take my cancer with my place with my place. This does not help to calm their anger, alas ... But I hope the next time they will at least think about the possibility of such a situation.
You must ask for help - do not be shy. A request for help is normal for a normal society. Around not wolves - around people. I think this is worth remembering more often both sick and healthy.
