In December 2012, a book by a religious scholar, Dr. Philosophical Sciences Sergei Ivanenko "Ordinary anti-cultism" (St. Petersburg: Publishing House "Drevo life”, 2012. – 104 p.).
The book tells about the emergence and development of the anti-cult movement in Russia, its leaders, the most striking episodes of the persecution religious minorities using anti-extremist legislation. The author considers the influence of anti-cultism on state-confessional relations and proposes measures to prevent the violation of the rights of religious minorities.
The book includes interviews with representatives of religious organizations - objects of attacks by anti-cultists, as well as with lawyer Aidar Sultanov and director of the SOVA center Alexander Verkhovsky.
