V. Volodin spoke out in support of “traditional” religions and against “sects”

December 9, 2012 during a meeting with trusted representatives Vladimir Putin, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Vyacheslav Volodin stated the need to “support traditional religions and proceed from the fact that they are the guarantor stability" . In his opinion, "sects" and "offshoots" are an opportunity to "call tension" in society.

“We started building a large number of religious buildings, but did not think about who would come there to preach. The experience of other countries speaks of that before you build, tell me who and what will preach there " , - the official said.
