
The Tver District Court arrested two large trading houses in the center of Moscow as part of a criminal case of theft from the Bank of Moscow, a witness to the former mayor of the capital Yuri Luzhkov, the Prime Agency, citing a source in law enforcement agencies.
In particular, the premises were arrested at 25 Nikolskaya Street, there is the Nautilus shopping center, and property at the address: New Arbat Street, where the Vesna Trade House is located.
There has not yet been an official confirmation of this information from the Bank of Moscow.
The criminal case against the former president of the Bank of Moscow Andrei Borodin and his deputy Dmitry Akulin was instituted at the end of 2010. They were accused of fraud with funds from the city budget in the amount of 12.76 billion rubles through the loan of Premier Estit CJSC issued by the Bank of Moscow.
