January 21, 2013 press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation announced that the Oktyabrsky Court of Novosibirsk had received a case on the organization activities of a cell of the banned organization "Nurcular" in Novosibirsk. According to investigators, the defendants disseminated extremist theological literature, promoted radical ideology and recruited new members organizations.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs does not disclose either the names of the accused or the article under which the case was initiated.
Most likely, it's about the case , filed against Ilkhom Merazhov and Kamil Odilov under Part 1 Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of the activities of a religious association, in in respect of which the court has made a final decision to prohibit in connection with the implementation of extremist activities).
Recall that we consider it illegal to ban extremism of the books of the Turkish theologian Said Nursi and the related ban organization "Nurcular", which never existed in the territory Russia, as well as the persecution of people studying the works of Nursi.
