On January 23, 2013, the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Karachay-Cherkess Republic announced that an administrative case under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (dissemination of extremist materials) against the owner of the Islamic World bookstore in the village of Uchkeken. The reason for starting the business was that the store sold the books "Prophet Muhammad Mustafa-1, may Allah bless him and welcome", "At the peak of civilizations. From the era of the Messenger to the present day" and "Last breath" by Osman Nuri Topbash "Islamic dogma (Aqida)" by Ahmed Saim Kylavuz, as well as "40 hadiths of Imam an-Nawawi". All these books, along with 68 other religious works, were banned by the Leninsky District Court of Orenburg in March 2012.
Recall that the case on the ban of 68 materials should be reviewed in the near future.
