A night inspection of an Orthodox homeless shelter was carried out in the Moscow region

On the night of January 23-24 In 2013, a police check of an Orthodox shelter for homeless "Noy", located in Domodedovo.

The reason for the audit was an anonymous statement with information about the forcible detention of people in a home for the homeless.

Almost everyone in the house, including the volunteer doctor, was were detained by the police and taken to the police department, where interrogations were held and fingerprinting.

The detainees were released by 6 o'clock in the morning.

Recall that the Orthodox shelter for the homeless "Noah" was created in 2011 by the forces of the laity. The board of trustees of the shelter consists of two priest - Fr. Alexander Borisov and Rev. Sergei Kovalchuk.

Later it became known that in relation to the employer of residents in the shelter, the Internal Affairs Directorate conducts an inspection, after which the issue of initiation of a criminal case.
