January 22, 2013 Central District Court of Volgograd satisfied the claim of the prosecutor's office of the Volgograd region and recognized as extremist two sites, on the pages of which there are books from the collection of works of the Turkish theologian Said Nursi "Risale-i Nur". The judgment has not yet entered into force.
The prosecutor's office substantiated the claim by the fact that these sites "are intended for distribution among an unlimited circle of persons of the works of Badiuzzaman Said Nursi "Risale-i Nur", including those recognized as extremist materials, which creates threat to the national security of the state and is prohibited by law .
Recall that we consider it unlawful to ban Nursi's books for extremism and the related ban on the organization "Nurcular", never existing on the territory of Russia, as well as the persecution of people studying works of Nursi.
