Fine for Timur Mutsuraev's song on VKontakte

On January 25, 2013, it became known that the justice of the peace of the court site No. 37 of the Maloyaroslavetsky district of the Kaluga region brought to administrative responsibility an Internet user who posted Timur Mutsuraev's song "Chechens" on the social network "VKontakte", available for listening and copying. This song is based on the decision of the Yurga City Court of the Kemerovo Region dated April 14, 2010 included in the Federal List extremist materials.

The song on the social network was discovered by prosecutors in October 2012 during an audit, and the user of the account was also identified as a resident of the Maloyaroslavetsky district. The district prosecutor initiated an administrative offense case under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (mass distribution of extremist materials included in the published federal list extremist materials). The material on the distribution of a song from the federal list was received by the prosecutor's office of the Maloyaroslavetsky district from the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation for the Kaluga region in October 2012.

The court fined the Internet user.

The decision of the court was not appealed and entered into force.
