On January 25, 2013, employees of the Nizhny Novgorod Line Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Transport reported that they had detained two young people who had painted Nazi symbols in the vestibule of a train.
Young people were traveling by Nizhny Novgorod-Zavolzhye electric train home to the Balakhna region. One of them went out into the vestibule and began to draw a swastika and numbers on the wall of the vestibule with a car spray. During the detour of the train, the police detained the offenders and took them to the duty unit of the linear police department at the sorting station.
One of the young people had previously been charged with appearing in public places while intoxicated.
