Krylov was given 120 hours of compulsory work

On January 28, 2013, the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow sentenced one of the leaders National Democratic Party of Konstantin Krylov to 120 hours of compulsory work under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of national hatred).

Recall that a criminal case was initiated against Krylov on the fact of his speech at the rally "Stop feeding the Caucasus" on October 22 2011. Then Krylov spoke extremely insultingly about "Caucasians", but refrained from direct appeals. From our point of view, this incident was not sufficient grounds for initiating proceedings. Formally Krylov's actions fall under Art. 282 (humiliation by nationality), but we consider this part of the article superfluous in the Criminal Code.

Krylov pleaded not guilty and intends to challenge sentence.
