Jehovah's Witness fined in Segezha

On January 30, 2013, it became known that the Magistrate's Court of Segezha (Republic of Karelia) found a follower of Jehovah's Witnesses guilty of an offense provided for by Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (mass distribution of extremist materials), and fined him 1,000 rubles.

The decision of the world court was appealed, but the Segezhsky The city court upheld it. The decision has entered into force.

It was considered an offense to distribute the books "What really Does the Bible really teach?" and "Youth Questions. Practical advice. Volume 2", contributed to the Federal List of Extremist Materials.
