Pskov: criminal case for materials on a social network
On February 1, 2013, the Pskov Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Pskov Region initiated a criminal case against an 18-year-old student of one of the city's educational institutions, suspected under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity).
According to investigators, in February 2012, the suspect, being a minor, posted on one of the social networks materials with " calls for violent actions against persons of a different nationality ".
On June 13, the Investigative Department for Pskov, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Pskov Region, was informed that the investigation of the case had been completed. The case with the approved indictment was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
