A criminal case has been opened in Novgorod over the publication of a racist video on the VKontakte network.

In February 2013, in Veliky Novgorod, a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of national hatred).

The case was launched against a 22-year-old local resident who is suspected of posting on the social network VKontakte in April last year racist video.

Unfortunately, it is not reported which video is in question.
