The federal list of extremist materials has grown to item 1704

On February 27 and March 1, 2013, the Federal List of Extremist Materials was again updated, adding pp. 1678-1704.

The list was replenished: regular videos from the VKontakte network, the poem "Be Russian!" from the newspaper "Vesti Slavyan Yuga Rossii", the cult book of American racists "Hunter" by Andrew McDonald, materials from Hizb ut-Tahrir, Muslim nasheeds, sites Ingushetia Online and angusht.com.

Update Federal List of Extremist Materials dated February 27 and March 1, 2013:

1. The video material “Right-sounds proudly!!!” posted on the website “VKontakte” with the e-mail address http://vkontakte.ru/id 86667913 (decision of the Promyshlenny District Court of Kursk dated 03.05.2012 and ruling of the Promyshlenny District Court Kursk dated November 26, 2012).

2. Video material “History and Causes of Hizb ut-Tahrir” by the “HT Media Russia” video recording studio, posted on the Internet, on the “wall” of the open group “Muslims of Chelyabinsk” (http://www.vk.com/club7923080) ( decision of the Central District Court of Chelyabinsk dated September 20, 2012).

As a reminder, we believe this ban is unlawful.

1. Informational material - a poem by Evgeny Skvoreshnev under the heading "Be Russian!", Published by the editor of the newspaper Solomakh B.I. in the newspaper "Vesti Slavyan Yuga Rossii" No. 2 (193) for 2007 (decision of the Krymsky District Court of the Krasnodar Territory dated 06/06/2012 and the appeal ruling of the Judicial Collegium for Civil Cases of the Krasnodar Regional Court dated 08/02/2012).

It should be reminded that in December 2011, the Novorossiysk District Office initiated a criminal case on Part 1 Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of national hatred) on the fact of distribution of the Crimean newspaper in the territory of Novorossiysk, Abinsk "News of the Slavs of the South of Russia". In 2010 and 2009, the newspaper's editorial staff received "anti-extremist" warnings from Roskomnadzor. In December 2010, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper, Boris Salomakha, was convicted by the Krymsky District Court of the Krasnodar Territory for publishing the poem "Be Russian!" in 2007.

We believe that this interview with a supporter of the acquisition of independent statehood by Circassia does not contain signs of incitement to hatred and calls for violence, and therefore it was unlawfully recognized as extremist. We were unable to read the comments to the interview. 1682. Informational material - a commentary on the article "In Karachay-Cherkessia, a gang of 29 Wahhabis was convicted for preparing a coup d'etat" under the nickname "seyfullah.09" (posted on October 25, 2011 at 18:36), located at the Internet e-mail address: " www.09biz.ru” (decision of the Cherkessk City Court of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic dated November 22, 2012).

This commentary expresses the author's sympathy for the convicts, but since it does not refer to the approval of illegal actions, there were no grounds for a ban. 1683.
