In the Moscow region, a case of murder of a man during an “occult ritual” has been sent to court.

6 March 2013, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced the end of the investigation criminal case initiated under Part 1 of Art. 244 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (desecration of the bodies of the dead) and Part 4. Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim) 18-year-old resident of Roshal, Moscow region.

11th grader accused of being together with his 21-year-old friend through negligence on the night on April 30 to May 1, 2012 they killed a man sleeping in a cemetery. By versions of the investigation, young people, fascinated by the occult, performed a "rite" - hit the man on the head with nunchucks and inflicted 28 stabbing and cutting blows on him subject. After the man passed away, they carved a swastika on his forehead.

Senior of friends is also suspected of committing another "occult" crime: in 2010, he stabbed one of his enemies with several blows, and, cut off his head, put it on an anthill, and buried the body. April 2012 years, young people dug up the grave and "performed an occult rite with the body deceased."

What does it mean the consequence of "performing an occult rite" is not entirely clear.
