On March 9, 2013, at about 10:00 pm in Perm, two unknown attackers threw a stone and a bottle of flammable liquid into the building of the Jewish Community Center on 25 October Street. A window was broken in the building, the floor of 0.5 square meters burned out in the office meters. The fire was stopped by a guard. No harm done.
The leadership of the Jewish community stated that it links this act of anti-Semitic vandalism "with a series of articles in the Permian media that came out last week. before the arson and were directed against the peaceful procession on March 10, dedicated to the introduction of a new scroll of the Torah".
