On March 14, 2013, it became known that a church building of the late 19th century, located in the village of Zapovedny (formerly Seckenburg), Slavsky District, Kaliningrad Region, was put up for sale.
In the real estate database, this object is designated as a "warehouse-church". Its price is 20 million rubles.
Kircha "Gross Krishcanienė", a cultural heritage site of municipal importance, has served as a state farm warehouse since the late 1940s. A few years ago, the building was purchased by the Moscow joint-stock company Zapovedny Krai.
The regional service for the state protection of cultural heritage objects does not comment on the situation.
