In St. Petersburg they are again protesting against the holding of M. Gelman’s exhibition “Icons”

On March 18, 2013, it became known that more than 2 thousand signatures against the exhibition of Marat Gelman "Icons". Activists of the public organization "Trade Union of Citizens of Russia" intend to transfer these signatures to Governor Georgy Poltavchenko.

Several hundred appeals have already been sent to the governor in in electronic format.

Recall that the exhibition in St. Petersburg was scheduled for 2012, but met with protests from the Orthodox. Fund for Support of Modern art "Ricordi" proposed to postpone the opening of the exhibition, but M. Gelman then chose to cancel it. Now it is again decided to hold the exhibition from March 29 until April 21 in the premises of the creative platform "Weavers".
