Fine for Hitler's book on a file-sharing network

On March 26, 2013, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kemerovo Region announced that a specialist in the accounting department of one of the Novokuznetsk firms was recognized guilty of mass distribution of extremist materials.

29-year-old woman, registered under the nickname "Pyjamaka", posted on the file-sharing network an electronic version of Adolf Hitler's book "My struggle". It was discovered by the police and employees Federal Security Service of Russia for the Kemerovo Region. The file has been deleted and regarding the distributor of the book was drawn up administrative protocol under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (mass distribution of extremist materials, included in the published federal list of extremist materials, as well as their production or storage for mass distribution).

The World Court of the Kuznetsk District of Novokuznetsk found the woman guilty of committing an administrative offense and fined her 1000 rubles.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kemerovo Region also reported that in 2013, five residents of Kuzbass were brought to administrative responsibility for distributing extremist materials.
