Residents of the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg oppose the expansion of the territory of the monastery courtyard at the expense of the public garden

26 March 2013 it became known that residents of the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg began collecting signatures against the expansion of the territory of the Antoniyevo-Siisky courtyard monastery of the Arkhangelsk diocese at the expense of the square adjacent to the church.

IN square between Demyan Bedny, Olga Forsh and Prosveshcheniya st., there is already a wooden the church is a monastery courtyard. At the beginning of February 2013, the city authorities supported the application of the Russian Church to expand the territory of the farmstead by 4,600 sq.m. at the expense of the park.

Local residents are going to stage a protest.

They are supported by several deputies. One of them is deputy Vishnevsky - sent a letter to the governor of the city, in which he also insists on preserving square.
