Samara: a new jury decided that Nikolaev is still guilty

April 2, 2013 jury of the Samara Regional court delivered a verdict on the case of murder motivated by ethnic hatred (p. "l" Part 2 Art. 105 of the Criminal Code).

Alexander Nikolaev is again in the dock (“Horvat”), who is accused of having hit twice on September 10, 2011 bayonet-knife of a native of Tajikistan. The man died from his wounds.

Recall that the case of A. Nikolaev was previously considered by the court, and on November 2, 2012, the jury, disagreeing with the arguments of the prosecutor's office, found him not guilty.

In November 2012, the prosecutor's office appealed against the court's decision, citing “admitted violations of the criminal procedure law”. According to the prosecutor's office, these violations limited the prosecutor's right to present evidence and affected on the content of the questions put to the jurors and the answers to the them.

On January 29, 2013, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation overturned the acquittal the verdict of the Samara Regional Court and sent the case back for a new trial.

This time, the jury found him guilty.

Earlier, A. Nikolaev was a member of the movement against illegal immigration (DPNI) and was tried for a series of bombings and arson.
