Attacks on Jehovah's Witnesses in March 2013

In March 2013, there were several incidents of attacks on Jehovah's Witnesses preaching on the streets and in houses.

In Moscow, there were two cases of clashes between Jehovah's Witnesses and local residents: on March 4, 2013, S. Terekhova (75 years old) was pushed by a woman in the entrance so that S. Terekhova fell on her back and hit her head on the tile, and on March 24 2013 to two members of the community - V. Bocharova and T. Vasyuschenkova - one of the residents threatened with a gun, and later fired, but missed. The armed man was taken to the police station Strogino.

In Lakes of the Moscow region March 29, 2013 22-year-old Jehovah's Witness I. Gusev was beaten unconscious on eyes of his younger brother. The man beat the young man with his hands and feet, saying: " Look what to do with the sectarians!". The man was taken to the police hospitalized.

In Omsk, on March 6, 2013, a resident of one of apartment beat Jehovah's Witnesses M. Permyakova (81 years old) and E. Temerova (76 years old). M. Permyakova was taken to the hospital with broken ribs and damage to the right lung. A criminal case has been initiated.
