Jehovah's Witness acquitted in Vyksa

April 4, 2013 in the Vyksa City Court of the Nizhny Novgorod area was considered an administrative case under Art. 20.29 Administrative Code (production and distribution of extremist materials) against a resident of Nizhny Novgorod, distributing literature during prayer meetings of the Witness community Jehovah.

The case was closed for lack of an event of wrongdoing, since the literature distributed was not recognized as extremist and included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials.
