April 12, 2013 teacher of "sect studies" Stavropol Theological Seminary, Priest Anthony Skrynnikov proposed adopt a regional law on missionary work, restricting the activities of "non-traditional" religious and foreign organizations.
According to the priest, there are about 230 "sects" operating in the region, whose followers regularly commit offenses, including Fr. Anthony denounced blood transfusions or military service.

It is necessary to create websites about sects and their crimes, where contacts of law enforcement services, clergy, public organizations, psychologists, lawyers" .
Deputy Mufti of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Stavropol Territory Rasul-Khadji Izhaev supported the idea of fighting "sects" through the "education" of the population and invited representatives of the "traditional" organizations to carry out such activities together.
Remember, the Governor Stavropol Territory proposed to involve the Cossacks in the fight against the "sects".
