Searches were carried out in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses in the Moscow region

12th of April 2013 as part of the investigation of a criminal case under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 282 (excitement hatred or enmity by an organized group) were searched at the Witnesses' Jehovah of the Sergiev Posad district of the Moscow region.

In the village of Vorokhobina 15 police officers inspected the premises where the liturgical meeting was held Jehovah's Witnesses, and found "a book from the list of extremist literature." ABOUT which book in question is not reported. Community members believe that the book was planted by the police.

At the same that day a search was conducted in the apartment of the chairman of the same community.
