Another rally against the construction of a church in Malinovka Park was held in St. Petersburg

April 20, 2013 in the Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg was held another rally against the construction of the Orthodox Church of the Myrrh-bearing Women in Malinovka Park.

More than 300 people took part in the rally, including environmentalists, city defenders, members of the Yabloko party, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, A Just Russia. Was collected 300 signatures against the construction - now there are about 8 thousand.

The rally organizers emphasized that they were not against Orthodoxy, but in defense of the park. The rally was held under the motto "Let's save Malinovka park from any development.

Please note that at the end of March 2013 opponents of the construction of the temple in Malinovka Park sent a collective letter to the prosecutor's office of St. Petersburg.
