"Spiritual and Ancestral Power of Rus'" is now in Chechnya

On May 17, 2013, the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Chechen Republic initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of a public association in respect of which court issued a final decision to ban the activity in connection with the implementation of extremist activities) on the fact of the activities of members of the association "Spiritual and tribal Power of Rus'".

Recall that the "Spiritual and Tribal Power of Rus" was recognized as extremist by the decision of the Moscow Regional Court dated April 5, 2011, 2011 (more about the "Spiritual and Tribal Power of Rus" can be found here ).

The basis for initiating the case was the results of a prosecutor's check, which showed that the organization, despite the ban, continues to send appeals " promoting extremist activities, recruitment and involvement in the composition of this organization other persons "to various public authorities.
