In Tatarstan, the government will determine a new uniform for schoolchildren

On May 30, 2013, the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan adopted the Law “On Education” in the first reading.

One of the provisions of the law is related to the school dress code: according to the new law, the approval of basic requirements for students’ clothing is assigned to the Cabinet of Ministers.

Let us remind you that in Tatarstan , Stavropol Territory, Astrakhan Region,Krasnoyarsk and Moscow Region, debates continue over the admissibility of wearing Muslim clothing by students.
