On June 4, 2013, an investigator of the Butyrsky interdistrict department of the TFR of Moscow presented Boris Stomakhin received a new decision to prosecute him as a defendant. Now instead of Part 2 of Art. 205.2 (justification of terrorism) and 280 of the Criminal Code (calls for extremism), part 1 of the same articles was again imputed to the publicist, i.e. he is no longer accused of committing these acts using the media.
Stomakhin was charged with Part 1 of Art. 30, part 2, article 205.2 (preparation for public justification of terrorism using the media).
Recall that Stomakhin was charged with texts published on the Resistance website. (recognized as extremist in July 2012 and included in the Federal List extremist materials (p. 1521)), as well as publications in B. Stomakhin's personal blog.
The preliminary investigation into the Stomakhin case has been completed.
On June 5, the Moscow City Court rejected Stomakhin's appeal against the April decision of the Butyrsky District Court of Moscow to extend the period of detention in a pre-trial detention center until May 21. Since the adoption of this decision, the Butyrsky court once again extended the arrest - this time until July 10.
