The Moscow City Court commuted the sentences of those involved in the second case of riots on Manezhnaya Square

In June 2013, the Presidium of the Moscow City Court considered the complaint against the verdict of August 8, 2012, handed down by Tverskoy district court in the second criminal case on the riots on Manezhnaya Square . Disorder took place in the capital in December 2010.

Recall that four young people were accused in the case. people: Vladimir Kirpichnikov, Nikolai Dvoinyakov, Vitaly Vasin and Grigory Bilchenko.

The submitted supervisory appeal indicated that in determining the totality of punishment for young people was mistakenly applied by Part 3 of Art. 69 UK (sentencing on the basis of a combination of crimes), suggesting the presence in a list of crimes of at least one serious, instead of Part 2 of Art. 69 of the Criminal Code, where is the speech only deals with minor or moderate offenses. Since none of young people did not commit a single serious crime, the presidium satisfied the complaint and reduced the terms of convicts.

V. Kirpichnikov will spend 2 years and 9 years in a general regime colony instead of 3 years months.

N. Dvoynyakov instead of 1 year and 11 months will spend in colony 1 year and 10 months.

Conditional terms have also been reduced.

G. Bilchenko sentence reduced from 2 years and 3 months to 1 year and 10 months conditional imprisonment.

V. Vasin instead of 2 years and 9 months will be under probation 2 years and 7 months.
