In Udmurtia, a criminal case against a xenophobic prisoner has been brought to court

In June 2013, the Udmurt Republic initiated criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred).

The case was initiated against a 38-year-old prisoner from one of the correctional colonies of the republic, which " repeatedly and publicly called for violence against persons of another nationality, behaved brash and inappropriate ."

It is reported that the suspect was also found with a notebook, in which found records of the components of an improvised explosive device. By This fact has been verified.

A man is serving a sentence for murder.

In February 2014, the Zavyalovsky interdistrict investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Udmurtia was case investigation completed.

The case was referred to the court for consideration on the merits.
