An anti-clerical rally took place in Tomsk

On June 9, 2013, a rally "For secular state”, which was attended, according to various estimates, from 100 to 200 Human. The rally was organized by "a group of citizens not affiliated with any of the political parties."

The audience held posters in their hands: "Hands off Darwin", “Let the Church Live on Donations”, “The Church - on Self-Sufficiency”, “Level religiosity is inversely proportional to the level of education”, etc. Speakers called for "preventing the merging of church and state." At the rally representatives of various religious organizations were present.

“In a multi-confessional state, any formal and the informal merging of church and state is a heavy ground for inter-religious conflicts, which can lead to sad consequences for people ,” said one of the organizers of the action, Aleksey Murashov.
