In the city of Yuryev-Polsky a sentence was passed for a racist video on a social network

On June 13, 2013, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Vladimir Region announced that a 19-year-old resident of the Yuryev-Polsky district had been sentenced. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of hatred and enmity, humiliation of the dignity of a group of persons committed in public).

Recall that on November 1, 2011, a teenager in the cinema building in the city of Vladimir posted in free access on his page on the social network "a video with a characteristic extremist title, showing scenes of execution of citizens from the southern regions of Russia." (Probably, we are talking about the video "Execution of a Tajik and a Dag" from the Federal List of Extremist Materials). The roller was published when he was still a minor.

By the verdict of the Frunzensky District Court, the convict was sentenced to 160 hours of compulsory work.

As the Investigative Committee reported, “ the young man, having admitted his guilt in the alleged act, explained that, having matured, he experienced a feeling of deep disappointment in addiction to the nationalist ideology. Now he conscientiously works in the agro-industrial complex and does not want to return to the past. ”

The criminal case was investigated with the escort of employees of the regional department of the FSB of Russia and the Center for Combating Extremism of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Vladimir Region.
