Arrested for threatening a judge in the Kvachkov case

On June 14, 2013, the Preobrazhensky Court in Moscow announced the arrest of Nizhny Novgorod resident Alexander Bukharts, who sent threatening letters to the judge who considered the case of the leader of the NOMP, Colonel Vladimir Kvachkov. According to the investigation, on December 18, 2012 and February 10, 2013 the suspect threatened to kill the judge Moscow City Court to Pavel Melekhin and his relatives "in connection with the case of coup d'état that he was considering." He sent out with multiple email addresses threatening emails in email boxes listed on the official website of the Moscow City Court.

Bukharts was charged under Art. 296 of the Criminal Code (threat in connection with administration of justice). He was detained in Nizhny Novgorod and later transferred to Moscow.
