On June 24, 2013, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kurgan region reported that the owner of the store in Kurgan was fined under Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda and public display of paraphernalia or symbols, confusingly similar to Nazi paraphernalia or symbols).
The police found a souvenir knife with a swastika on sale in one of the shops in the city. A report on an administrative offense was drawn up against the owner of the outlet. The knife was confiscated.
